How Many Days Do You Need at Mount Rushmore?
Mount Rushmore itself usually takes part of one day. The larger Black Hills trip deserves more time if you want scenic drives, wildlife, caves, historic towns and Badlands National Park.

Enough for the main viewpoints, Presidential Trail and visitor exhibits at a comfortable pace.

Combine the memorial with Keystone, Iron Mountain Road or a focused portion of Custer State Park.
